In Gdansk, Poland to choose a new mayor

In Gdansk (Poland), local residents choose a new mayor. Early elections were appointed after the brutal murder of Pavel Adamovich.

It is known that he spent in this position for over 20 years. The mayor died after the attack, a former prisoner during the charity concert on January 13. Doctors were unable to save Adamovich, because the stab wound was too serious. The mayor died the next day.

In place of Pavel Adamovich expect just three: former Deputy mayor Alexander Gulkevich, businessman Marek Skiba and journalist Grzegorz Braun.

Up to nine o’clock in the evening all interested persons could vote for one of the candidates in the polls.
