In Yekaterinburg police detained a man who took hostage his family and threatened to blow up the house.

March 10 at one of the houses on Karl Marx street in Yekaterinburg was seen in virtually all security services in the city. It turned out that a local resident living in the building, took hostage his family and threatened to blow up the house.

Arrived at the scene of the emergency workers, emergency and police three hours negotiating with the attacker. Fortunately, it managed to hold. The man was taken to a psychiatric hospital.

According to stories of neighbors, the mental health of a detainee has long caused them doubt. They said that he drank a lot and the possible cause of the incident was “delirium tremens”.
